Montessori Teacher Training in Lebanon

Have you been dreaming about taking the full diploma teacher training course with AMI?
Well, now is your chance to make it happen. Montessori for Lebanon is in the process of preparing the first AMI teacher diploma courses to be offered in Lebanon. We are working hard to have the first cohorts start by September 2024. We are in the initial stages but here are some basic details we can share with you right now.
We plan to offer the teacher training course for ages 0-3 and 3-6 years. If you are interested in other levels you can note it on the registration form below.
Format
Blended (in the 0-3 diploma course, approximately 50% of the course will take place online and 50% in person; in the 3-6 diploma course, the theoretical components will be given online and the practical training in person. Both will be at a training facility fully equipped with Montessori apparatus)

Schedule
About 600 instructional hours and 210 hours of observation and teaching practice.
Course Requirements
90% attendance
All coursework and assignments submitted and completed
Teaching practice completed at an AMI approved school
Passing score on oral exam
Passing score on written exam
Language of Instruction
English. Arabic and/or French translation may be offered if there are enough students requesting it. All assignments must be submitted in English or French.
Location
Beirut (exact location to be determined).
Cost
Estimated tuition rates are currently between USD 6,000 and 8,000. The exact cost will depend on the final number of participants.
